Founded in 2020 by Placidia Kunene as a guiding school in Victoria Falls
Nungu Safaris began with a simple yet powerful vision: to train young guides and inspire conservation-minded tourism in one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders. Our journey started small, with a passion for sharing the magic of Victoria Falls with visitors from around the world.
We believed that the best way to protect this incredible ecosystem was through education and authentic experiences that connect people to nature. In 2025, we transitioned into a full tourism and safari agency, expanding our offerings while staying true to our roots.
Today, we continue to operate with the same community-focused, authentic approach that defined our beginnings. Rooted in community, authenticity, and adventure, Nungu Safaris remains committed to creating meaningful connections between travelers and the wild heart of Africa.
